Indisputably, the present generation, has the privilege of seeing Joel's prophecy fulfilled 2.24 that he says: " And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil” And Joel's prophecy 2.28-31: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: and also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah cometh.”
The impact of the spilling of the Holy Spirit in this generation is of such a magnitude that, one century ago was considering to the pentecostals groups as an appendix of the evangelical traditional churches; but now, several serious experts of to move of the Spirit propose to invest the things, because really the evangelical historical churches have managed to be an appendix of the Pentecosrtal Churches and New Pentecostals. Why? Because nowadays, when less in Latin America of every evangelical 100, 85 are of Pentecostal experience. Conservative information aims that nowadays the pentecostals in the world spend 400 millions, over the orthodox ones that add approximately 250 millions.
In other words, we are living really THROUGH THE LATE RAIN announced in the Word. Joel 2.23 says:” Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first month.”
In Israel there are two types of rain:
a) The early rain: it is light and takes advantage to sow the seed
b) The late rain: it is abundant and with her it makes mature the seed
The rain in if it has a beautiful symbolism, so as descendant from the sky, represents the manifestation of the HOLY ESÍRITU, and as consequence the manifestation of the gifts.
The early rain was it does two thousand years in Jerusalem, the day of Pentecost, the late rain is now in our generation with a God's powerful manifestation to Christian Evangelical Churches for on the traditions of the different names.
A FINAL WORD:
I know that in Africa, God IS SPILLING OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT IN GLORIOUS WAY AND THAT ON THE Christian Community Philadelphia in Burundi and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo this one is a reality. Amen.
